One of my customers needed help with this type of pantograph. You can find these types of patterns at Judy Lyon's website of http://www.meadowlyon.com.

How to Use This Blog
Since we have lots and lots of videos here, you will need to know the best way of finding what you are looking for. Each post has the video(s) of the topic it is about. Sometimes there will be more than one video that is a continuation of the previous one. These videos will be posted together within the same post. To find what you are looking for, either use the search box or the list of categories posted in the right column.
The IQ system is constantly evolving, so please keep in mind that some of the older videos may show features that have been replaced by newer ones, or buttons that have changed position or names. However, the videos have not been removed because the methods demonstrated are still valid.

Setting up Panto's to Fit Inside Borders (revised)
I have revised my method of stitching pantographs within borders. There are 3 videos for this.
This is also a great way to make a neat background fill so there are less tie-offs or jump stitches.

Using The No Sew Feature With a Motif Pattern
Produced by: Linda Lawson
In these videos I show you how to place a background fill behind a motif in a block. I hope to have a pdf made to go along with this soon. The first 3 videos are showing how to fill around the outside of the block. The next 2 videos show my method for getting the fill to go inside an area of the motif.
Video 1 of 3
Part 2 of 3
Part 3 of 3
These next few videos are my method for filling the inside of the wreath that we are using in the previous videos.

Stitch In The Ditch With IQ
This is a video showing how to do stitch in the ditch with the Intelliquilter. I am no expert and was skeptical about doing SID before. But when I decided to enter a quilt for the MQS computerized category, I realized 100% of the quilt needed to be done using the Intelliquilter. No freehand was allowed so I had force myself to use the line pattern feature to do SID work.
To my surprise, I actually got quite proficient doing this. I urge all of you to at least try to do this. You might be like me and hang up your rulers for good.
Tips:
- Set your IQ speed to .03/.03 and try to match the speed of your machine to this speed so you have the desired stitch length.
- Try using quilters gloves to help manipulate your fabric as the IQ is stitching.
- Use a very thin (50 - 70wt.) for all SID work. The stitches will not show up as much if you run onto the high part of the seam.

Pantos within Borders
This video shows how to quilt a panto within a border. This video was made before we had the clip/pause marker update so I would encourage you to view that video also and adapt this method incorporating the clip/pause marker as you quilt your quilt.

Borders with Corner Patterns
In this video we will work with setting in corner sections along with borders. I've also included a short section on working with the on-screen measurement tool.
Update: This video was made before we had the line pattern feature. Please see that video to get an alternative method of working with borders.
